"In the spring of 2022, my wife and I decided to go with composite decking and eliminate the constant maintenance required for a wood deck (that was 20 years old). After contacting a few contractors and receiving a few bids, we decided to move forward with Nick and Nate, a.k.a. H&L Custom Builders.

Early into the process they informed us that aside from a beam and the support posts, the rest of the wood required replacement, essentially a total deck replacement. We took their advice and they built one of the most structurally sound and aesthetically pleasing deck we could have imagined. They were very accommodating when we asked for changes, absolutely open in their communication with us on the project, and consummate professionals throughout the project!
